I am committed to transparency, communication, and accountability to the people I serve. I believe in the power of government to create opportunities and support for all people, regardless of what zip code you live in, or the title you hold. Together we can build a better future for our family and our community.

PLATFORM

FREEDOM

We deserve the freedom and dignity to choose for ourselves which books we want our children to read, when we want to start a family, and the ability to learn the uncensored history of our nation and the state of South Carolina. Banning books and erasing history has no place in a society that prides itself on freedom, liberty, and justice for all. Furthermore, women deserve to make their own reproductive decisions without government interference.

JUDICIARY REFORM

I will stress the importance of safeguarding the independence of the judicial system from political interference or influence. I will work to improve the efficiency of court cases, fairness, and access to justice. I believe in the Second Amendment of the United States Constitution, the right to keep and bear arms.  The Constitutional carry require careful consideration of various factors, including legal principles and practical implications. It's essential that we engage in informed and respectful dialogue to address complex issues and strive for solutions that will uphold the principles of justice, equality, and the rule of law.

HEALTHCARE
Mental Health: I will fight for increased funding for mental health services.

Medicaid Expansion: We are one of 10 states that refuses to expand Medicaid, leaving 450,000 South Carolinians uninsured. It is time we accept federal funds, and expand Medicaid to provide healthcare for our citizens.

Postpartum Care: South Carolina has the 8th highest rate of maternal mortality in the country. This is unacceptable, and once I'm elected to the state senate I will fight to prioritize postpartum care.
HOUSING

I believe that housing is a fundamental human right.

Everyone deserves access to safe, affordable,
and adequate housing, regardless of income, background, or circumstances.  "NOW IS THE TIME", to revisit the Landlord Tenant Act, which has not been revised since 1986.
